She testified that he took out his phone throughout previews to see on their 22-month-old female offspring at day care. The bullet that killed Chad Oulson nearly cut off his wife’s finger as she tried to induce him to sit down down, she said. Another witness testified that once firing the fatal shot, Reeves muttered: “Throw popcorn in my face.” Still, Reeves maintained that Oulson appeared able to hit him. “I was fully defenseless,” Reeves said. “I have not encountered somebody exhibiting that quantity of uncontrolled anger and rage.”
