Jill Biden passionate next first lady Biden

Dr. Jill Biden became the First Lady-elect after her husband, Joe, became the projected winner of the 2020 presidential race on November 3 Saturday.

Dr.Jill Biden has not only campaigned tirelessly alongsides him during the victorious election race but has also supported Joe Biden alltimes his decades-long political career for their country.

Though Dr. Jill Biden is a passionate supporter of her husband Biden, she is also fiercely independent.

She worked as an English teacher throughout Joe Biden's duration as Vice President from 2009 to 2017, becoming the first known Second Lady to work full time her job while serving alongside her husband into the White House.

With a doctorate degree, she will also be among the most-educated presidential wife in the role's 231-year-old history of the United States. Professor Dr. Jill received her education doctorate in 2007 from the University of Delaware. In her dissertation, she focused on student retention in community colleges.

The Bidens, married for 43 years, have endured a series of ups and downs — from his vice presidency to the 2015 death of her stepson Beau Biden from brain cancer.

Back in February, Professor Biden hopped out of her seat to lead a protester away from Mr Joe Biden, later laughing about it as she told news agencies she was just "a good Philly girl". She was also filmed keeping hecklers at bay during a rally in March.

When she was 15, she started her first job as a waitress. "From an early age, I knew I wanted my own money, my own identity, my own career," she told news reporter in 2008.

Four years later, in 1971, Dr. Jill Tracy married with Bill Stevenson, a former college football player whom she met the summer before graduating of high school.

She attended the University of Delaware with her first husband, Bill Stevenson, yet co-ed life meant that they soon drifted apart, separating in 1974 after just four years of his first marriage.

After completing her Bachelors degree in Delaware, she went on to gain a Masters from West Chester and another Masters from Villanova. She is also got a Doctorate from the University of Delaware in education, which she studied for in 2007.

After the disappointment of her first marriage with Bill Stevenson, her brother decided to set her up on a blind date with then-Senator Joe Biden, a with out wife with two sons (Beau Biden and Hunter Biden), who had lost his first wife and one-year-old daughter in a car accident in 1972.

Like many American families, the Bidens spent Thanksgiving holiday differently this year. They stayed at their house in Rehoboth, Delaware, rather than their usual "Nana-tucket," as her grandchildren have called the Massachusetts island where the Bidens started going early in their marriage to establish a new holiday tradition.

In 2020, instead of the usual sprawling family tableau, their daughter and her husband were the only Biden visitors to the house in Delaware. A Zoom call with the larger group was on the evening's agenda.

"She is not your average grandmother," granddaughter Naomi Biden said on a video shown at the Democratic National Convention, recalling that Jill Biden once woke her up at 5 a.m. on Christmas morning to go "soul cycling."

"She's a prankster, she's very mischievous," Naomi added with a grin. "When she goes on a run, sometimes she will find, like, a dead snake and she'll pick it up and put it in a bag and use it to scare someone."
