Provocative street artist paints controversial murals of a 'sexy' bikini-clad Hillary Clinton and a topless Melania Trump

US Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and potential First Lady Melania Trump have been painted in two very racy murals in Australia.

Melbourne artist Lushsux painted a mural of Ms Clinton in a very revealing stars and stripes monokini over the weekend.

The day before, he revealed a mural on Perry Street in Collingwood of her opponent Donald Trump's wife, Melania.

Mrs Trump was pictured from the waist up, and completely naked.

Above her head was Ms Clinton's campaign slogan, 'I'm with her'.

Revealing his work on Instagram, he captioned the picture of Ms Clinton 'stupid sexy Hillary' - a nod to the well known The Simpsons scene which sees Homer utter the same thing about Ned Flanders after he appears wearing a similarly coloured snowsuit.

On the Instagram post displaying the mural of Mrs Trump, provocative artist Lush Sux told his fans 'please try to not masturbate in the alleyway as per the request of neighbours'.

The artist told Daily Mail Australia the mural of Ms Clinton is based off a popular Photoshop image circulating the internet, and had proved very popular with passers by.

'I almost fell off the ladder while I was painting it from the horn blasts,' he said.

As for Mrs Trump, Lush Sux said the aspiring First Lady had done nude modelling before.

'Melania did a bunch of nude photography back in the day, and she's not bad for an old duck so she also got a wall,' he said.

'People seem to hate her a lot the poor thing.'

Both pictures, shared with the artist's 107,000 Instagram followers, have received thousands of likes, and mostly positive comments.

The notorious muralist recently drew inspiration from the very public online feud between pop star Taylor Swift and reality mogul Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West by painting a 'memorial' to Swift.

The mural was then turned into a memorial for the late gorilla Harambe, who made international headlines after being shot when a child fell into his enclosure.

The untouched portrait of the 26-year-old pop star was first seen plastered on a wall in a Melbourne alleyway on Wednesday.

Lush Sux shared an image of his work in the early hours of Thursday morning after a cartoon gorilla face seen in Spongebob Squarepants was painted over Swift's and the caption was changed to: 'In loving memory of Harambe, 1988-2016'.

Harambe the gorilla has become a common popular culture reference, featuring heavily online as the subject of satirical memes, since the 17-year-old was killed at the Cincinnati Zoo on May 28.

Zookeepers shot the 200 kilogram Western lowland silverback gorilla after a three-year-old boy climbed over a metre-high barrier and plummeted 4.5 metres into a moat in the enclosure.

Harambe grabbed the child and dragged him through the water causing zoo staff to fear for his safety. He was killed only minutes after the child fell with a single rifle shot to the head.
